For the record, I am not going to post scores unless it is a direct resuklt of one guy’s play. The scores do not matter.
A’s vs Giants
Giants- Buster Posey looked as good as advertised. Runzler has a really good arm. Matt Cain struggled with his fastball command and it showed. No defense out of Aubrey Huff either, let one go right by. Defense not very good in general. Darren Ford can FLY.
A’s- Gio Gonzalez looked really good. Hid the ball well, good command, only guy who really hit him hard was Aaron Rowand on the first pitch of the game. Mark Ellis was on, had 3 hits. Michael Taylor looked horrible. Could not catch up to the fastball and could not adjust down to the breaking stuff too. Lots of swing-and-misses.
